PAAM’s exhibitions and programs draw about 40,000 people to Provincetown each year, contributing significantly to the business community. Visitors to PAAM often stay in guesthouses, eat in restaurants, and shop along Commercial Street. It’s a reciprocal relationship. Since PAAM’s very beginnings, it has depended on the cash and other types of support—office supplies, equipment, art supplies, accommodations, food, wine, and expertise such as accounting, legal, event planning, catering, staff training—which businesses contribute. PAAM encourages its members, friends and visitors to support the following businesses whose sponsorship helps PAAM enhance the essential art exhibitions and education programs that improve the quality of life on outer Cape Cod. FREE FRIDAYS AFTER 5

PAAM welcomes and solicits organizations to underwrite this popular admission policy, which allows everyone to visit exhibitions for free on Fridays after 5pm, regardless of the ability to pay the admission fee. The Museum recognizes sponsorship by the following organizations on a placard at the Front Desk:

ADVERTISING

Besides enhancing your life, PAAM’s 200+ classes, exhibitions and annual events produce revenue essential to the Museum’s continued well-being. Still, the budget for advertising them is minimal. Businesses and publications contribute underwriting support for general advertising or advertising for specific exhibitions and events such as: the gala; the Secret Garden Tour; the Spring and Fall Consignment Auctions; Film Art @ PAAM; the Bart Weisman, Dick Miller and Blue Door concert series; the Fredi Schiff Levin Lecture Series; and the Spring, Winter and Fall Classes in the Lillian Orlwosky/William Freed Museum School at PAAM.

Through state room tax revenues submitted by every guesthouse in Provincetown, for the past four years the Provincetown Tourism Fund has provided support for PAAM to advertise its major exhibitions and programs to national, regional and local audiences.

The Provincetown Gallery Guide also provided the Lillian Orlowsky/William Freed Museum School at PAAM four pages of advertising.
