Painting, Drawing, and Monoprinting the Abstracted Landscape

With Vicky Tomayko. Tuesday-Thursday, August 9-12, 10am-1pm. Members: $300, Non-Members: $320.

This is an active art making class that will draw inspiration from the abstracted landscapes of the artist, Gregory Amenoff.

Amenoff’s landscapes are filled with expressive strokes, vivacious colors, and broad and intimate perspectives. PAAM has a number of works in the collection by Amenoff, both prints and paintings. We will spend time in person in the classroom with these works and also view a slide presentation of other paintings and drawings by Amenoff. Participants will choose a direction to create their own abstracted landscapes. You may decide to paint, draw, and or make monoprints. This class is suitable for the beginner as well as the more seasoned artist. Instruction will be provided for the chosen mediums.
