Carrot Cake: We All Make It Differently

PAAM is closing until March 31. This includes the Museum, the office, the school, and all programs scheduled through April 17. The PAAM staff will still be reachable by email and by phone (, 508-487-1750.), and we’ll continue to update our social media channels. Please read this letter from PAAM CEO Christine McCarthy for more information.

Carrot Cake: We All Make It Differently showcases the artistic journey of students participating in PAAM’s 2019-2020 Art Reach program. Curated by the participants, the exhibition features multiple projects in a variety of mediums undertaken in three tiers of the program: Art on the Edge, Art Reach 101, and the Reaching Forward Mentor Program.

Art Reach is PAAM Education’s premiere award-winning program for youth. Designed to support the growth and development of students over time, from beginner to advanced learner, peer mentor, and teaching artist, Art Reach is comprised of four integrated programs: Art on the Edge (ages 10-13); Art Reach 101 (ages 13-15); Art Reach Studio (ages 15-19); and the Reaching Forward Mentor Program (ages 16-22). Each program runs 1-2 days per week over 2 semesters (fall and winter/spring) and ranges from 10-13 weeks per semester. Students may apply to any tier of the program and are not required to participate in a tier before they are considered eligible for the next one.
