November 1 @ 10:00 am 1:00 pm

< Back to Workshops

Wednesday-Friday, November 1-3, 10am-1pm

3 sessions | $230 for members $250 for non-members

If you have ever been curious about the magical process of printmaking, or want a review, this  workshop is for you.

In this three-day workshop we will learn basic printmaking techniques and  create monoprints (unique prints). Demonstrations will include, press set-up, ink mixing and  rolling, and approaches to working in layers to create depth in images. We will focus on using  found and handmade stencils as printing substrates to create complex images from simple  techniques. We will also explore layering with water soluble drawing materials. Monoprints are  an excellent way to create a series, so you will come away from the workshop with several  unique but related prints.
