Educated to WSET 3. \n\n\n\nLoren Ostrow: With an extensive background in significant project development and management\, Loren Ostrow has led successful endeavors as president of Silver Slipper Gaming\, Bossier Casino Venture\, and principal in KOAR International. His expertise spans major commercial real estate acquisitions\, developments\, and management\, from casinos to hotels to shopping centers and restaurants. Loren currently serves as the CEO and President of Living Out\, Palm Springs\, a developer of senior housing alternatives for the LGBTQ community. His first project\, a 122-unit independent living community\, which broke ground in November\, 2021 is located in Palm Springs\, CA \n\n\n\nLoren’s academic accomplishments include a B.A. degree with Magna Cum Laude honors from the University of Rochester\, an MBA in finance and accounting from the same institution\, and a J.D. degree from Stanford Law School. \n\n\n\nLoren and his husband\, Brian Newkirk\, live primarily in Los Angeles and Palm Springs and also have a home in Provincetown\, MA \n\n\n\nSky Power: born 1951 in Lubbock\, Texas\, has lived and worked in Provincetown\, MA since 1976.  \n\n\n\nWhile attending the Cornish School of Allied Arts in Seattle\, WA in 1971\, Power mentored with Dale Owen\, who was then Dean. During 2010 through 2013\, the artist studied with painters Paul Resika\, Selina Trieff\, and Robert Henry\, all of whom were Hans Hofmann students in the 1940’s and 1950’s.  \n\n\n\nSince 2004\, Power has been an exhibiting artist at Berta Walker Gallery in Provincetown\, MA\, and for the past four decades has exhibited at various galleries and museums including George Billis Gallery in New York\, NY\, the U.S. Embassy in Muscat\, Oman\, New Britain Museum of American Art\, Westmoreland Museum of American Art\, Wichita Art Museum\, Cape Cod Museum of Art\, Cahoon Museum\, and Provincetown Art Association and Museum.  \n\n\n\nThe artist’s work is included in the permanent collections of the U.S. Embassy\, Valletta\, Malta\, and Provincetown Art Association and Museum.  \n\n\n\nOutgoing Trustees: \n\n\n\nThe Nominating Committee and The Board of Trustees extend their most sincere appreciation to Doug Dolezal\, Trevor Mikula and Carol Warshawsky for their service to PAAM.   \n\n\n\nRespectfully submitted\, \n\n\n\nPAAM Nominating Committee

Doors open at 5:30pm\, tickets: $45.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCassandre McKinley\n\n\n\nCassandre McKinley is an Associate Professor in the Voice Department at the Berklee College of Music and is best known for her voluminous voice\, spirited emotional performances and a presence on stage that is exuberant\, passionate\, yet warm and disarming. Cassandre has shared the stage with Jay Geils (J. Geils Band)\, Dick Johnson (leader of the Artie Shaw Band)\, Bernard “Pretty” Purdie\, Jerry Portnoy (Eric Clapton\, Muddy Waters)\, Peter Eldridge (New York Voices)\, and many more. She has toured and performed in venues across the country and her music has been heard on national and international radio stations. Cassandre found worldwide recognition with her jazz album “Til Tomorrow – Remembering Marvin Gaye” and Jazztimes Magazine hailed the work as “a rich and sensual salute.” Cassandre will be accompanied by Myanna on sax\, Fred Boyle on piano\, Ron Ormsby on bass\, and Bart Weisman on drums. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMyanna\n\n\n\nMyanna will open the concert and is one of the hottest and most soulful saxophonists to be based in Massachusetts and she plays music that mixes together jazz improvisation with funky rhythms\, expressive playing\, and catchy tunes. With her attractive and soulful sounds on her horns\, her versatility\, and her arranging and compositional skills\, Myanna remains in constant demand as a leader and she continues playing regularly in clubs and concerts with her own band; with the Love Dogs; as well as guest appearances. She has won awards for best Jazz Artist several times from both the Boston Music Awards and the Boston Phoenix readers poll. Myanna has recorded four CDs as a leader. SUMMARY:ON VIEW: Gallery Talks with Megan Hinton
DESCRIPTION:Register!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nON VIEW offers an opportunity for artists and art lovers to visit PAAM and engage in a group discussion about selected pieces on exhibition during the 2026 summer season. \n\n\n\nFacilitator Megan Hinton will lead an investigative inquiry into the form\, process\, and content of selected artworks. This in depth look will offer viewers surprise and expansion in relation to exhibited artworks. Sessions will also provide artist participants greater insight and influence for their own practice. A deeper visual study of an art work’s historic\, conceptual\, and technical vocabulary will broaden artistic dialogue. All are welcome and participants may enroll in one\, two\, or all three gallery talks scheduled over the course of the summer. See what’s on view here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMegan Hinton is a painter known for reconfiguring genres of landscape\, figurative\, and object painting. Her art utilizes painting’s historic content and technique with found and discarded material to investigate line\, color\, shape\, surface\, and scale. This fusion of content and material further defines Hinton as a collagist and sculptor with interdisciplinary practices in installation\, photography\, and printmaking. In 2024 PAAM honored Hinton with the prestigious annual Award for Artistic Excellence. Megan holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary arts from Mills College where she won the Hung Lui Painting Prize. She has received residency fellowships from Twenty Summers in Provincetown and The Frans Masereel Centrum in Belgium. She is a recipient of the Alice C. Cole ‘42 Merit Grant from Wellesley College. Megan is also an art educator\, curator\, and writer. She shows her work at Farm Projects Space in Wellfleet\, Massachusetts.
