SUSAN BAKER: Early Works, 1968-1982

PAAM 1998 exhibition catalogue

SKU: 430 Category:

Susan Baker has created a large body of work during her lifetime as an artist. Her wide ranging literary readings coupled with her extensive travels to Europe have informed her art in fascinating ways. As her husband, poet Keith Althaus observes, “each painting is part challenge and discovery, and part tribute and memory.”

Baker quotes from Proust, “The real discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.”
