ABOUT NICHOLAS DAHL

Born April 8, 1992, Nic was a bright, passionate, effervescent, and caring person. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. He enjoyed exploring the world, a trait that brought him to Provincetown in the summer of 2022. He quickly fell in love with the town and its residents.

Nic was a prolific writer, poet, and reader. He created and shared his poems and writings during family gatherings, at friends’ weddings, in his journals, and on social media. He was wordy and worldly. Among his favorite poems were Mary Oliver’s Wild Geese and Walt Whitman’s Song of Myself. Like Whitman, Nic contained “multitudes.” He is lovingly remembered by his family, who established this scholarship as a tribute to his life and creative spirit.
