Support

Giving your support to PAAM means investing in the future of Provincetown art and artists.

Integral to the community comprising the Provincetown Art Colony, PAAM embodies the qualities that make Provincetown an enduring American center for the arts. Our year-round staff is committed to achieving excellence in PAAM’s five main areas of activity: serving the community; educating children, students, and life-long learners; advancing scholarship; preserving our artistic legacy; and nurturing the ongoing practice of art-making.

PAAM operates 12 months out of the year, yet – like most Outer Cape organizations – struggles to keep the lights on in the quieter months. It costs $80,000 per month just to maintain a small staff, a sum which does not even count the additional costs of opening the doors, welcoming guests, educating students, and creating programming.

The resources needed to fulfill our mission come directly from donors, members, students, neighbors, volunteers, and friends like you. Thank you for considering a gift to PAAM, your support is greatly needed and deeply felt.

Ways To Give

DONATE TO THE ANNUAL FUND

When you donate to PAAM’s Annual Fund, your support goes directly to the area of the Museum’s greatest need. As a nonprofit art organization, PAAM relies heavily on contributions from members and friends in order to maintain our day-to-day programming and extraordinary exhibitions.

JOIN A DONOR ASSOCIATION

When you join one of PAAM’s Donor Associations, not only do you fund magnificent achievements, but you also become part of a community. Your investment in PAAM ensures that we’re able to open our doors every day and remain the anchor of the Provincetown art colony.

ATTEND A FUNDRAISING EVENT

PAAM hosts several fundraising events throughout the year that promote art, artists, and Provincetown.

ADOPT AN ARTWORK

PAAM’s Adopt An Artwork program seeks to preserve and restore permanent collection works so that they may be enjoyed by the general public as much as possible.

CONTRIBUTE TO THE CAPE COD ARTIST SCHOLARSHIP

Help us create life-long learning opportunities. The Cape Cod Artist Scholarship underwrites the cost of taking a workshop at PAAM with a local teaching artist. Available to year-round residents of Cape Cod of any age.

VOLUNTEER

It is through the generosity of more than 200 volunteers that PAAM is able to provide quality exhibitions, educational programming, and special events that the Outer Cape needs and deserves. Volunteer opportunities range from helping out in the PAAM office, assisting with exhibition installation, and directing guests through our celebrated annual Secret Garden Tour. Whatever your skill set, there is a place for you at PAAM.
