Summer Workshops

Warming sands, tall blue skies, and the bustling heartbeats of summer-goers wash new energy onto the shores of Cape Cod every summer without fail.

In these days, when the light stays a little longer and the sun shines a bit brighter, we as artists find courage to reach further towards the indescribable beauty around us and the bursting ideas within. And it is courageous: to think, speak, and create as we do. Whether in the traditional teachings unique to Provincetown or the quiet magic of the seascapes just beyond, PAAM invites you to capture the momentum of what inspires you.

Thanks to the devotion and expertise of our teaching staff, I have the honor of presenting a spectacular Summer Workshop Program in 2022 here at PAAM. It is with great pride that in this season we’re introducing two brand new exclusive workshop series to our selection. With access to over a century of history downstairs in our galleries and permanent collection, PAAM and its teaching artists are uniquely positioned to illuminate the longstanding artistic techniques that have built Provincetown’s legacy in our PAAM Traditions Series. Students will also have access to our Foundation Series designed to solidify confidence around the building blocks of art and design and propel both beginner and master artists forward in their practice.

On the brink of a brand-new chapter, these soon to be lively studios await your passion, creativity, and ceaseless yearning to learn.
