Mat Cutting and Framing with Stephen Wells

April 10 @ 9:30 am 12:30 pm

Thursday, April 10, 9:30am – 12:30pm

1 session | $120 for members, $150 non-member price

In this workshop students will explore a variety of picture framing methods.

Several different demonstrations will be given on mounting techniques and mat cutting. Students are encouraged to bring their own work on paper, no bigger than 12×16. We will use archival materials to give students a hands-on lesson in mounting their own work so they can walk away with much more confidence in how to assemble their own frames. In addition to technique, students will learn about a variety of materials including mat board, hinging tape, and glass. All materials provided.
