Sculptural Book Making with Anne Corrsin

June 20 @ 10:00 am 4:00 pm

< Back to Workshops

Tuesday, June 20, 10am-4pm

1 session | $150 for members $160 for non-members

In this one-day workshop, students will be introduced to a simple book structure: the Concertina Binding, also known as the accordion fold.

From there, we will adapt the book form with materials provided and items that students bring including photographs, paper (plain and decorative), plastic, rubber, etc. Explore the book form as pure object and as a holder of content.

Variations on the accordion structure will be introduced as time allows. Basic materials like board, adhesive, thread and paper will be provided.
