Introduction to Color with John Clayton

June 24 @ 9:00 am 12:00 pm

Monday-Tuesday, June 24-25, 9am-12pm

2 sessions | $150 for members, $160 for non-members

Materials included in price of workshop, though we encourage you to bring your own brushes.

In this Foundations workshop, color and light painter John Clayton will cover color theory including the color wheel, complements, split complements, warm and cool colors, and the organizing of color shapes.

We begin in the studio, where there will be a lesson on values and other types of color examples such as analogous color and triadic color schemes. Students will then create some examples by applying these lessons to life through venturing outside to paint the landscape.
