For Educators

ENGAGE   EXPLORE   CREATE

The galleries at Provincetown Art Association and Museum provide a rich setting for educators and students of all ages to explore, engage and create.

The Museum presents over 30 revolving exhibitions in five galleries each year. Exhibitions feature works from PAAM’s permanent collection, the work of contemporary artists, youth program exhibitions, and works on loan from other museums and private collections. With a firm belief every visit to the Museum should be memorable and unique, Curator of Community Education Grace Emmet will work closely with you to ensure your PAAM experience is enriching, meaningful, and fun!

Please review our array of options for school and student group visits to PAAM, as well as our available options to bring PAAM to you! Ready to schedule a visit? Email Grace Emmet: gemmet@paam.org

THE LENORE ROSS CURATING PROGRAM

The Lenore Ross Student and Educator Curating Program is a multidisciplinary arts integration program, in which students, teachers, and school administrators engage with works of art chosen from the PAAM’s permanent collection, and create exhibitions in response to collection artwork. The Program consists of a series of components, takes place at both PAAM and in residency at the school, and is designed to accommodate a flexible timeline. Curated exhibitions may be installed at PAAM or if applicable, the school or alternative location.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Professional development opportunities are available through The Lenore Ross Curating Program. Activities may be customized for groups or individual teachers.
